One of the priorities when selecting a new location is warehouses with a BREEAM certificate. 

Half of the locations where we carry out warehouse operations hold this distinction. Modern construction positively impacts the reduction of utility consumption, such as electricity, water, and fuel, while also improving working comfort.

BREEAM certification is one of the popular building assessment systems for environmentally friendly solutions and user comfort. It evaluates facilities across multiple dimensions — from energy efficiency and water management to environmental impact and access to transport.

In BREEAM-certified warehouses, a variety of solutions are applied — from simple measures, such as switching to LED lighting, installing water-saving devices or bike racks, to more advanced ones, like photovoltaic installations or biodiversity-supporting projects (plantings, flower meadows, insect hotels). User amenities are also important — electric vehicle charging stations, relaxation gazebos, or car-sharing programs.

Thanks to this wide range of initiatives, it is possible to achieve a high level of certification without relying solely on costly, over-standard technologies. This flexible approach allows each facility to find its own path toward sustainable development.
